Why Patreon?

In short, we would greatly appreciate any assistance with covering our podcast's expenses. However, it would be wonderful if we could receive some financial support. Patreon is a well-known platform that offers our listeners the opportunity to contribute if they wish. We believe it's a safe and reliable option.

Transparency is important to us, and we want our supporters to know exactly what it costs to produce our show. We don't want anyone to feel misled or taken advantage of. The figures we provide here represent our annual operating costs, and do not include expenses related to gear, time, or software.

It's worth noting that Patreon takes a percentage of all supporter donations. We've chosen the Pro level, which deducts an 8% fee from each donation, plus a processing fee of 10 cents per transaction and 5% of the donation value. As an example, on our $1 tier, we anticipate receiving around 77 cents after all fees are deducted. On the $3 tier, we estimate our net earnings will be around $2.51.

Our goal is £40 per month.

For just now we're just aiming to cover our cost however any additional funds would be reinvested back into the podcast; buying gear, possibly buying games to review and definitely offering listener prizes.

What’s in it for me?

Our primary objective is to cover our production costs, but we're always looking for ways to enhance our podcast and create a better experience for our listeners. Any extra funds we receive will be put towards purchasing new equipment or games to review, as well as providing listener prizes. We're grateful for any support we receive, as it helps us maintain the quality of our content and improve our show.
